By creating an account, accessing the Platform, subscribing to premium content, posting comments, liking content, bookmarking articles, using video features, or otherwise interacting with the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that is necessary to provide, secure, personalize, improve, and maintain the Platform. This may include the following categories:

1.1 Account Information

When you register or update your account, we may collect your full name, email address, phone number, country, password or encrypted password credentials, account role, account status, verification status, preferred language, profile display name, and other information you provide directly.

1.2 Verification Information

We may collect and process email verification codes, phone verification codes, verification attempts, verification timestamps, and verification expiry information to help protect accounts and reduce unauthorized access.

1.3 Content Interaction Data

We may collect information about how you interact with articles, videos, mentors, categories, tags, bookmarks, likes, comments, replies, comment likes, reading history, watch history, notifications, and premium content.

1.4 User-Generated Content

If you post comments, replies, feedback, reports, or other content, we collect the content you submit, the account associated with that content, timestamps, engagement counts, moderation status, and related metadata.

1.5 Subscription and Payment-Related Information

If you subscribe to premium services, we may collect plan details, subscription status, start and end dates, trial periods, renewal status, transaction references, payment status, payment provider channel, customer phone number where required for mobile-money payment flows, payment timestamps, and provider messages. We do not intentionally store sensitive card details unless required and securely handled by an authorized payment processor.

1.6 Device and Technical Information

We may collect technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type where applicable, crash logs, diagnostics, performance data, security logs, access timestamps, and API request metadata.

1.7 Support and Communication Data

When you contact us, we may collect your message, email address, phone number, screenshots, support issue details, communication history, and any other information you provide to resolve your request.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for legitimate platform operations, service delivery, security, analytics, personalization, compliance, and support. Specifically, we may use your information to:

  • Create, verify, secure, and manage your account.
  • Provide access to articles, videos, mentorship content, premium content, and related features.
  • Personalize your feed, recommendations, interests, categories, and learning experience.
  • Enable likes, comments, replies, bookmarks, reading history, notifications, and engagement features.
  • Process subscriptions, verify payment status, activate premium access, and maintain billing records.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, spam, harmful content, and security incidents.
  • Improve app performance, troubleshoot bugs, analyze usage patterns, and enhance user experience.
  • Respond to support requests, account deletion requests, complaints, and user inquiries.
  • Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, platform, and app-store obligations.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on your location and applicable law, we may process your information based on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, fraud prevention, security protection, and the establishment or defense of legal claims.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers and partners only where necessary to operate the Platform.

  • Legal or regulatory authorities: where required by law, court order, valid request, or to protect rights and safety.

5. Payments and Mobile Money

Where mobile-money or payment-provider services are available, payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. These providers may collect and process payment information according to their own terms and privacy notices. We receive limited payment confirmation information such as transaction references, payment status, amount, phone number where applicable, provider channel, and payment timestamps for subscription activation and record keeping.

6. Comments and Public Interactions

Comments, replies, likes, and other public interactions may be visible to other users depending on the feature. You are responsible for the information you choose to share publicly. We may moderate, remove, restrict, or retain user-generated content to enforce our Terms of Use, community standards, security requirements, and legal obligations.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate operational needs. Some records such as payment, subscription, audit, security, and compliance records may be retained longer where required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction. These may include access controls, encrypted passwords, secure authentication tokens, transport security, server-side controls, logging, and monitoring. However, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, object to, or request a copy of certain personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Account Deletion

You may request account deletion through the app where available or by contacting us at zidiup@cradlesolutions.tech. Account deletion may remove your profile and access credentials, but some information may be retained where required for legal, payment, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, tax, accounting, or security purposes.

10. Children and Age Restrictions

The Platform is not intended for children below the minimum age required by applicable law. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without required consent, we may delete the information or take other appropriate action.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are applied to protect your information according to applicable law.

12. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, legal obligations, app-store requirements, or business practices. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy.

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ZidiUp Platform, including our mobile application, website, articles, videos, mentorship content, premium subscriptions, comments, bookmarks, notifications, payment-related services, and other features. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Account Registration and Security

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Some content or features may require a paid subscription or one-time payment. By selecting a premium plan or initiating payment, you agree to the price, billing terms, access rules, payment method, and subscription conditions presented at checkout.

5.1 Subscription Activation

Premium access is activated after successful payment confirmation by our systems or payment provider. Payment delays, network failures, provider downtime, or verification issues may delay activation.

5.2 Payment Providers

5.3 Renewals and Expiry

Subscription periods, renewal terms, expiry dates, trial periods, and cancellation options will be displayed where applicable. Access may end automatically when a subscription expires, fails to renew, is cancelled, refunded, reversed, or terminated.

5.4 Refunds

Refund eligibility may depend on the payment channel, applicable consumer laws, platform policies, and the nature of the service used. Unless required by law, fees for digital content already accessed may be non-refundable.

6. User Content and Community Conduct

The Platform may allow you to post comments, replies, reactions, reports, or other content. You are solely responsible for your user-generated content and agree not to post, upload, share, promote, or transmit content that:

  • Violates another person’s intellectual property, privacy, image, reputation, or legal rights.
  • Contains spam, scams, malware, unauthorized advertising, phishing, or harmful code.
  • Impersonates another person, mentor, organization, or representative.
  • Attempts to manipulate engagement, subscriptions, payments, access controls, or platform systems.

We may remove, hide, moderate, restrict, or report content, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or community standards.

7. License to User Content

By submitting user-generated content, you grant ZidiUp a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, moderate, distribute, and use that content as necessary to operate, improve, promote, and protect the Platform. You retain ownership of your content subject to this license and applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform designs, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, videos, articles, software, source code, interfaces, databases, and other materials provided by ZidiUp or its licensors are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or exploit any part of the Platform except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

It does not constitute legal, financial, medical, investment, employment, or professional advice unless expressly stated by a qualified professional. You are responsible for evaluating information and making your own decisions.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may contain links, integrations, videos, embedded players, payment processors, hosting providers, or third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, availability, security, or practices. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the Platform if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk, engaged in fraud, misused payment systems, harmed other users, infringed rights, or caused legal, technical, or operational concerns. You may stop using the Platform at any time and may request account deletion through available account tools or by contacting us.

13. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable access, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always-available service. The Platform may be affected by maintenance, updates, network failures, provider outages, device compatibility issues, payment-provider downtime, or events beyond our control.

14. Limitation of Liability
